With a better understanding of skills and situations, your confidence
will increase - especially with specialties like underwater navigation!
You'll find your diving will improve as you experience deep diving and
the special skills needed to fully enjoy the depths safely. There are
three more specialty dives to choose from a wide range of topics including
night, wreck, dry suit diving, photography and underwater naturalist.
It is 100 percent practical, with no written exam but knowledge quizzes
on each different type of diving covered.
The advanced diver certificate also allows you to dive deeper than 18
metres and is often a requirement for charter boats and interesting dive
sites below the Open Water certificate category.
